Position Overview:
An opportunity exists for a full time licensed journeyperson with current Gas Fitter 2 to serve Centre Wellington and surrounding area. The successful candidate will work closely with other skilled trades on planned, preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and provide critical response for any maintenance activities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide critical response for any emergency maintenance activities;
• Provide all pertinent information on work order history and communicate to the office regarding materials used/required;
• Show initiative, and take an interest in keeping abreast of emerging technology;
• Work well either independently or in a group environment;
• Participate in Continuous Improvement at the facility;
• Actively support safety, environmental and security responsibility initiatives.

Education/Experience:

• HVAC Journeyman
• Current Gas Fitter 2
• Minimum 2 years experience (will consider second or third year apprentice)
• Experience in both daily routine maintenance and major turnaround activities would be an asset
• Preference will be given to candidates with Geothermal heating experience
